For Sale Here Only: 1875-s/cc Trade Dollar

I have acquired a raw, cleaned 1875-S/CC FS-012.5 Trade Dollar. It has AU55 details, will probably grade net 40/45. I am sending it to ANACS for authentication/grading today. Since I already have an NGC AU58 specimen of this rare variety, I intend to sell this coin once it is authenticated and graded by ANACS. I am going to photograph it before sending it in, so I can email raw pictures to anyone interested. I will wait until grading results before setting price, but based on my experience, it will be something more than $600, but less than $1,000. The 2nd 'C' undermint mark is EXTREMELY visible on this coin. It is easily observable to the naked eye. And unlike many specimens I have seen, the entire 2nd 'C' undermint mark (not just portions of it like on most specimens) is visible to the right of the primary 'S' mintmark. As many of you know, this is the ONLY Trade Dollar variety listed in the Red Book and is a highly sought after collectors item and a true rarity. I don't think Heritage has sold one this year. The one they sold recently was a 2nd variety that DOES NOT have the strong under mintmark visible to the naked eye.
