I would like to see Dubya re-elected and Kerry retired, having been replaced in the Senate by a Republican, along with at least 8 others, giving the GOP a 60-40 or better, filibuster-proof majority. (Heck, the Dems had it in 1964 and look what we got out of that Great Society fiasco.)
I, for one, would like to see "turnabout is fair play" in my lifetime. Maybe then we will get rid of the income tax and make huge inroads against terrorism during the next 4 years.
yeah, it was nice to see the footage (replayed over and over) of "W" throwing a Line Drive STRIKE over the plate as the opening pitch for the St. Louis Cardinals opening day!
I am honestly not sure that Kerry would even get it to the catcher!!
Kerry (married filing separately) $395,000+ Wife, Teresa Heinz (ketchup heiress) makes that much in a month, so Kerry decided to file separately so as not to raise too many eyebrows.
See there were never 2 PSA 9 graded Pete Rose rookies with the same serial numbers. It is just that one serial number was meant to be read upside down!
Are card collectors mostly republicans? There are a disproportionate amount of left handers in this hobby, but republicans too? Maybe I am in the wrong hobby......no wait, I have other hobbys.....baseball card collecting is just one of them.

Um, Bush's tax cuts and his war on terror have been successful? The economy is still in the dumper and more people than ever before fear and hate America and are willing to die proving it. Bush is the commander in chief of raping the country for the benefit of those who are already rich, and Cheney is only a highly paid and well connected lobbyist for the oil industry. The entire world was united behind us on 9/12/01, and yet look at the situation now. This is leadership?
While "war on terror" sounds noble, I've yet to see him actually take any action on it. What makes a terrorist? Fear, anger, and belief. With careful planning, generosity, and wisdom, you might assuage fear and temper anger, but how can you make war on an idea, especially since only one side defines it as terrorism? Exactly how does using military force serve the cause of eliminating terrorism? As long as there's a guy with a stick of dynamite and a belief, there will be terror. And as long as George Bush is in the White House, there will be no peace for us. I know a guy who is in Iraq now, a civilian who is an investor in "brownfields," blighted land that gets cleaned up and redeveloped (and a staunch Republican). The war in Iraq was made for guys like that, not for the people who were on the four airplanes, or the sailors on the Cole, or the federal employees and civilians in the Congressional offices, or the Murrah building (can't forget domestic terrorists, can we?), not to mention the people of Israel, Palestine, Ireland, Indonesia, countless African states, etc. Yes, it was so important that this war was undertaken to make Saddam get rid of his WMDs (this was the underlying legal impetus, don't forget), wasn't it?
These tax cuts Bush passed, how can anyone support them? I suppose you could if a) you actually shared in them, and b) you think that having huge government deficits coupled with shrinking availability of essential services is a good idea. In 2001, my share of the first tax cut was about $160 per year, plus a $300 check. For the second round, it was zero. For the vast majority of people like me, who make around the mean and median income, how does that help us get by and, BTW, stimulate the economy? Oh, I get it, it doesn't. It was more important to give someone else making a million dollars a year an extra $50,000, rather than 50 people like me, whom it would actually help, an extra thousand. Regardless, the government is still spending that money it's no longer taking in, so that's a plus.
W does have history on his side, though. History will forever record that Bill Clinton was president before him, so he will always have Clinton to blame. And BTW, it's "nuclear" not "nukuler," stupid.

and if Kerry is elected, that changes how? Please! At least he is doing something to fight terror! Clinton did nothing (but allow it to get as big as it did on 9/11/01) for 8 years and Kerry would do nothing as well. It would be like having Carter for president when we had hostages in Iran.
(Actually I say that Bush needs to do MORE over there. I would pull all the troops from Iraq and Afanistan, Drop one big ass bomb on them all and call it a day, but He is a compationate conservative!)
