Papa John and Joe Orlando

My brother has been insisting that Joe Orlando and the Papa John's pizza guy are one in the same. Does anyone have a picture of Joe so I can prove him wrong? He swears he saw Joe at a big show then later that night saw an add for Papa Johns pizza and, you guessed it........ same guy! Don't get mad Joe, I'm trying to defend you!! A little help please from those that have seen both.

    NO, NO, the guy that OWNS Papa Johns. Wolf, tell me you didn't just run down to the local Papa Johns and take that picture? That is too funny.

    Hey, Greg from the wiggles does look like the Papa Johns guy too. Maybe there is something to this. Have you ever seen all 3 together?

    I've gotta say that they look very much alike, Papa John's guy is in commercials and Joe's pic is in SMR and/or his Top 200 Sportscards book.

    Hey, that's nothing. In January, I won a 1967 PSA 9 MINT Willie Mays on ebay. When the seller sent me the email, he said to make the check to Joe Orlando. So I did.

    Holly Crap!!!! I owe my brother an apology. That is unreal!!! The wiggles guy is flat out. But the Papa Johns guy looks like a twin. Wonder who makes more money? image

    I think Papa John has the edge money wise. I know Papa (John Schnatter) personally. I've known him since he got his start in the mid 1980's in the broom closet of a local tavern in my town of Jeffersonville, Indiana right across the river from Louisville, Kentucky. I also use to work for Papa Johns at their corportate offices. In fact I just talked with him a couple of weeks ago. You should see his house he is just finishing. It is a sight to see.

    I understand he has pretty much purchased Anchorage. His new house is shaping up
    as some kind of Italian villa.

    He could buy PSA with the profits on pepperoni's alone.

    It will be interesting to see what happens with the planning battles he is having with Anchorage. If he ever gets clearance, and decides to develop -- Anchorage will be very different very quickly.

    You are correct about Papa John's house. My wife is working on it right now (she is a decorative painter) and said it is spectacular. She can't give me any details about it, but said it really is something special. She also said Papa John was a very nice guy.

    Yeah but $18 million in Anchorage doesn't buy as much....

    I like how Schnatter gave back his salary and stock this year so he could give raises to store mangers.....classy
