The HYPE keeps growing

Some sellers keep adding new "descriptive adjectives" when offering coins for auction/sale. Personally, most of this hype turns me off. From now on, I personally will not bid on/buy a coin which includes any of the following adjectives in the description:
"delicious, blinding, flat-out, unbelievable, world's finest, dripping with, found in my grandpa's dresser, never touched, drop-dead gorgeous, unbelievable, I don't know anything about coins, but...ad nauseum. You're invited to add to this list, 'cause I now have indigestion and must stop.

I'm the Proud recipient of a genuine "you suck" award dated 1/24/05. I was accepted into the "Circle of Trust" on 3/9/09.

A MS63 that "should be in a 65 holder"
"You are bidding on"
"A xx% restocking fee will apply to all returns"
"no return on professionally graded coins"
"monster"
"neon"
"negative feedback will be left if you don't pay in xx days"
"What was PCGS thinking!"
Seems to me you are limiting yourself. Might miss a nice coin because of a pet peeve. What's next? I won't buy from a bald coin dealer.
Granted, hype is "sometimes" done for a reason. But not all the time. Some people are just enthusiastic.
our better judgement is your guide, and remember

Inversely Proportional
Two quantities y and x are said to be inversely proportional (or "in inverse proportion") if y is given by a constant multiple of 1/x, i.e. y=c/x for c a constant.
MAY CONTAIN KENNEDY HALF WORTH $9600!
I like to eMail these sellers and ask if I can return the set if I don't find a Kennedy worth $9600.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
appearence. The problem is that the terminology is used so often and is exaggerated
to such a degree, that the beneficial effect of said descriptions become minimal and a real turnoff.

2. L@@k. (Real turnoff, what does @ have to do with look?!?)
3. Monster
4. May contain peanuts.
5. Gold found!
6. Lifetime authentication guarentee. (Lifetime refers to the life of the company, not your life, not their life, so if they're a crappy company and only around for a few months and they shut down, poof, your warranty is gone. Your coin is a fake)
<< <i>"What was PCGS thinking!" >>
ER, that is "Legendary".
Or similar things like "1916 no D mercury dime" or "1908 Wish it were an 1877 Indian cent"
Of course, these are usually accompanied by "L@@K!!!!!!" "WOW!!!!!!!" and those sorts of things...
These really get my goat...

submitting it and therefore may end the listing suddenly and without warning if I have a change of
heart!" What a feeble sales-pitch! Once you lose credibility-you're done!
Right! If the seller truly believed that he or she wouldn't have listed it to begin with. Some major
players are the biggest phonies and must think all people with lesser sets or no sets at all are
complete fools! They use their reputations as selling tools.
Sooner or later they'll slip up, get caught in a lie and be exposed for what they are...two-faced
hypocrites and they will be made to feel the sting of public humiliation because of their egoes.

AU/UNC: Hey, either it's AU or UNC...DON'T BE A COWARD FACRISSAKE! COMMIT!
I won't even LOOK at auctions with these terms in it. Also, terms like "CH GEM BU" and the like are for those sellers who either do not know how to properly grade a coin or those whose purpose is to use terminology so nebulous as to confuse the potential buyer while not committing to a true grade.
Just my eversohumble opinion.
Cheers,
