Maybe the bidders think it's an upgrade shot. Although, I don't know how they'd be able to tell from that small image. It's amazing what a point or two in grade does to value on these.
At 64FBL it goes for about $80-100, at MS65FBL it'll go for anywhere from $900 on up - closer to $1100 to $1200 if it's a really great coin. I don't know what these guys see in the scan - I wouldn't be bidding that strong based on this scan.
The luster looks nice, but the picutre is too small almost like it was done on purpose. I have a simple digital camera that takes much better close-ups than that. I'm sure the seller wants people to think the coin could be an upgrade.

In the sales I have been doing the 1960s issues have been bringing in very strong prices.....
the P mints especially.... They are tough finds.....
This has been something I have noticed in the last month....
Franklins appear to be rebounded and doing it rather nicely..... with many exceeding the PCGs price guide....
Maybe its just been a rash of new Reg. set owners....
But a certian store known as R&I coins have bid strongly on many of my Franklins......
