Let's see, yours arrived on 3.25, and I have one in that arrived on 3.26. By my calculations, using PCGS Mean Time, mine should be done in about another week. BTW, you have no Kennedys on that submission, so I don't care about the results. image

    WoW!!!!

  • Hey Russ,

    Just you wait!!

Im headed out to LA next week to pick up about 300 lbs of BU Kenndy rolls! My granfather had theses stashed away in a couple of safety deposit boxes from when he used to work for the bank. But that was back in the 60's and 70's. Nothing Im sure you would be interested in.

  • clackmas,

That Jefferson really jumped out at me while I was searching. Nice satin like sheen and barely touched. Im not a big Jefferson collector but this was a nice looking coin! "FS", that means funky sheen, right?

Actually, it came from one of those $50 mint bags.

Nice score! I wish I'd bought a bag of the 2003 nickels. The 2004-P's that I got have to be some of the worst coins I've seen. They're reminiscent of a lot of the Philadelphia coins from the late '60's-early '70's. They look like they were put into a tumbler for a few days before they were bagged. The reverses are sometimes OK, but the obverses are loaded with tiny ticks, and frequently have some good-sized gouges in them.

Since they only took 13 days, am I correct in assuming it was a regular submission, and not economy? I'd be pleased with the grades on most of the coins in your submission. Congrats!

Why were these coins submitted under regular class? Wouldn't they be cheaper to go economy? It is because you wanted the grades faster and were willing to pay extra?
    I brake for ear bars.

    Dimitri,

    Im willing!image

World coins seem to take forever over here and I never agree with the grades.image

Im on my third attempt to get a 1957 one water line Canadian dollar to be designated but with no luck. The coin has been upgraded twice though! image

    Lava,

This was a regular submission. I don't normally use it because of the price unless Im certain about a particular coin but In this case I simply didn't want to wait the three months to get my grades!!! It's a small price to pay for my sanity. imageimage
