My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

I was there Friday and Saturday. I saw Julian at his table and njcoincrank was hanging out at Jonathan Kern's table. You were right about the attendance. Fridays seemed pretty good and the dealers seemed pleased that day but the show was dead on Saturday. Most of the dealers I talked to about it reported that they did well the first day but overall they didn't do well because Saturday was off so much. Most seemed to attribute it to this being the first time for this spring sow and that it will probably pick up in future years as it becomes established in collectors calanders.

Didn't find much there, no new slab varieties or examples didn't already have. I did find on dealer who had some scarce early slab varieties cheap so I picked up a couple of duplicates. About the only other thing I bought were these three pieces that struck my fancy.
