I remember passing one of these up on ebay about five years ago that went for 275.00.

Bar code on the back. For some reason most of the overgraded or just plain ugly for the grade pcgs graded coins I have seen are in those holders.

The 98 ngc 69sp sounds more interesting.

I bought one from the mint at original price. Recently it was graded at MS70 by PCGS.

I thought it would probably make a 69 tops. I guess I don't quite know what I'm doing yet.

I agree with Placid. Never buy an MS70 or PR70 sight-unseen in a PCGS slab from that era. The vast majority I've seen do not make the grade.

The two coins graded MS69 will bring more than the collector set, although not a lot more. If the JFK is graded MS70, the coins bring substantially more than the collector set.

I have both coins graded MS-70. The best of both worlds.
