1877 S Trade dollar.. Help... Real or Fake?

I was going thru some of my trade dollars and came across this one. The surfaces seem kinda of odd.I am not very familiar with the series but I know there are a lot of conterfeit examples out there.I am starting to wonder about this one.Obviously it has been cleaned at some time in the past.I wouldn't think somebody would clean a fake coin though.The obverse has a corroded look in the fields or maybe someone just tried cleaning it with something to harsh.The reverse almost has a mirrored proof like appearance.

Is this a fake or just a abused coin?

The coin looks real to me. Harshly cleaned, yes, but real.

I agree....looks real but harshly cleaned. I usually look at the edge as well to see if the reeds are well formed or not.
