I'm not into proofs but it looks like it's been handled quite a bit.

If this were a proof, I'd have to go with yes, fake frost because of what appears to be splash in the fields around the devices. As a DMPL Morgan, though, I don't know. I've seen them still in the GSA holder that looked similar to this one, but not as pronounced.

I think it's ok; however I'd be worried about the mirror depth.

My guess is the picture been enhanced and the mirrors are cloudy at the edges...so not really DMPL except to PCI.

It looks, from the photo, as if there is "frost" on the fields inside the date, which should not be the case if it is a DMPL. Then again, that could just be the photo.

The frost "spillover" from the eagle on the reserse is so obvious that, if it is not genuine, a real boob must have been the doctor. This is one that would require a personal inspection.

I agree with Wolfy. I think the cloudyness you see on the pics is an impairment of the mirrors, thus the main reason why its probably still in a PCI holder - probably wouldn't cross as a DMPL to the big boys.

I think it's impairment in the mirrors combined with enhanced contrast done to the image.
