Morgan grades= 65 63 65 65, Do you agree?

The grades on these four coins just don't seem right. They have been graded by three different grading companies. Two of the coins were graded the same day by the same company.I think they used a different standard when they came back to work after lunch.

Here are the grades:

1881 - NGC MS65
1902 - PCGS MS63
1921 - ACG MS65
1921s - NGC MS65

I am pretty comfortable with the grade on the 1881. I think it is has a shot at 66 when comparing it to the 1921s. What I don't understand is how can the 21s be graded at 65 when it has more marks on the face and also what looks to be considerable wear on the reverse wreath.Unless do to this date normally having a weak strike, it is given some additional credits?

The 1902 is in a old PCGS older. I think this coin will definitely upgrade. The coin has actually turned about 100 degress in the holder. It also rattles when you shake it. I think I remember reading something about "rattlers". Is there anything special about them?

I'll probably crack out the 1921 and get it crossed over to see what happens.

All opinions welcome, Randy
