What is The Hot Baseball Set?

My wife has begun to really get into the collecting however, she likes the newer stuff which I know nothing about, (I am a vintage collector myself).. since there are approx 40 diff set variations in baseball...so what is the set to own? I see alot of people talking about the heritage set..Is that the Topps Heritage?

I don't know much about modern cards but I would agree with the heritage sets. They are really nice. That's what I would choose.

Bear the Topps heritage set mirrors the 55 topps set. you guys may want to do that set. Im not sure if you can get boxes retail anymore but ebay must have some...talk to stone abt these he nose the ins and outs.
    Good for you.
  • Yeah they're talking about Topps Heritage. My wife loves them. Since she kind of got into it, she loves opening packs, but also the vintage look. These make quite the compromise for both. They can get pricey, but what kind of price can you put on your wife actually going to shows with you and not compaining?!?

buy your wife as many heritage packs as she wants...nice to see husband and wife involved in the same hobby, whatever that hobby may be. My wife grudgingly puts up with my card collecting hobby, but fully supports and participates in my other hobby (golf).
