Full Step Jefferson?

I have this 1950-D Jefferson that has pretty decent steps. It appears to have a nick on the steps. Would this knock it out of the full step category or would it be better to send it to SEGS? It is close to MS65.

Sorry I guess it would help to post a picture.

Never send ANY coin to ACG,NTC,SEGS,SGS,or PCI.Coins graded by these companies tend to bring less money in the market.
  • For those that wish to have a Jefferson that is truely identified for it's step count send any and all Jeffersons to SEGS - top notch! Otherwise go for the others if your out for just a registry show piece...

As far as your coin, the steps will be counted for what they are and will not stop the count at SEGS but rather would be noted on the holder at SEGS as having TICS, NICKS, CUTS, or BRIDGES (whichever applies).

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking the same thing Keets. I figured that it wouldn't make FS but I had to ask.
