Old Mistake "Washington" cards

Back in about 1975 or so, the Padres were set to move to Washington until something fouled up the deal, but Topps printed a bunch of cards with the SD airbrushed off the caps and the Washington name on the cards. I've got a bunch of these, altho none of them are in mint condition --hell, I was 12 and I played with them. Are these worth anything? How would I find out? Thanks.

They are the 1974 'washington national league' cards. The cards were printed both as Padres and as Wash. Nat'ls. You can find them regularly on Ebay. I do remember back in the '70's these were going to be real 'collectors items'. I believe McCovey is the strongest star of the bunch.
