Those SEGS holders are something else!

Wow! It took me almost 20 minutes to crack a coin out of a SEGS holder. Usually I use wire cutters on slabs and it works like a charm on ANACS, NGC, PCGS, etc. Not this bad boy! I had to take it down to the garage and whack the heck out of it with a hammer. Finally the top flew off, and the lower portion still wouldn't crack! I had to take the claw end and pry it open.

I don't trust their grading, but I sure am impressed with their holders after this.

Never tried cracking open a SEGS slab but ICG slabs are also very hard to get out with a hammer,only a few small chunks of glass came off after about 50 whacks.My grandpa finally took some needle-nosed pliers to it.

I use a vise, it works great.......

Yep, SEGS is tough. The toughest of all of them.

Tough holder for sure.
About the only thing going for them.

Only got one coin left in their holder.

Well, I have to say that I also like the fact that the coin info. is on the top edge of the holder so you can see what they are when they are stacked up. I like their holders.
