Yep, even 'old hands' screw up.

Be careful out there.
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    be sure the coins purchased are genuine ?

    I think fake 1964 halves would be easy to detect. They are very common so a counterfeiter will not spend lots of time to make excellent dies and planchets with the correct weight and silver content. They wil be made of some base metal do the weight, color, and feel will be wrong.
