    Hi ealandg:

I thought that maybe I should have mentioned what it was.

    Nothing fancy.

    Morgan, 1904-O, AU58

    Belonged to my Dad.
    He's been gone 22 years.
    Will stay in the family.
One of those very "special" coins.
    You know what I mean.

  • I sure do. My freebie was also a 1904-O Morgan in MS63 from my Dad's collection. He passed away a few years ago and I though I would slab it for sentimental value. Weird coincidence...
  • I know exactly what you mean image

Some coins might not grade at all (body bag), but they are priceless to us in terms of sentimental value.

    Wow, ealandg!
That is a coindence, isn't it!

    Hi Kriek:

    Nice meeting you.

You and ealandg are so right. That sentimental value is priceless.
I have a number of my Dad's coins positioned in my safe such that when I open it up, the first thing I see are his coins that I've gotten slabbed.
