How do you think $20 Liberty Gold coins will do in the 6-12 month future?

I just purchased 5 NGC MS62's on eBay. Please don't tell me I got screwed.

PoorGuy: The obv of the 1899 looks nice for an MS-62, but I didn't see any photos of the reverse of the coins. I think that you purchased them at dealer bid market value, and in the best value grade at only approx $100 over gold melt value.

Sounds like a reasonable buy to me. I think that you did fine -- especially to have gotten them in top tier slabs. I also like the asst dates -- not all 1904's. This is the beginning of a registry set ...

I think you got them for a good price. I sold one on ebay two weeks ago for $550.

MS-63's jump by 40% up to $700, which is why I mentioned that I feel MS-62 is the best value grade for $20 Libs...

According to Trends Price Guide the average price of the 5 together is $419.00.

My Coin Values ("Trends") from April, 2004 has the common date MS-62's in the $550-560 range.

So you are saying I just payed bullion price for these with an 99 dollar premium? I think the average for each coin I payed for was 520 a coin.

I guess that is kind of cool. I suppose when the premium for thes coins is this low, it is the perfect time to buy.

Here's the right average according to CW Coin Values: $569.00

New York Spot Price for gold at Bid: $419.40 / Ask: $419.90.
