Question

PSA has that offer now of set grading at $10 per card and 5 day turnaround. Not that I am going to do it, but what keeps people from submitting all of their cards this way. If there is no minimum amount that you have to send in, and you can delete your set right away from the registry, is there someway that they can keep people from submitting a bunch of cards this way and get them back quicker and sell them. I am probably missing something, but in this day and age there isn't a whole lot of honesty.

Why would they want to stop people from doing that?

  • Well considering it costs $25 normally to get 5 day turnaround, thats all I am saying. And thats all they really need is everybody wanting 5 day service when they can even fulfill any of the 30 day orders in time lately.

Seeing as most cards aren't worth grading at the 10 dollar level,
I wonder just how many cards are actually submitted at the 25 dollar level.

Seems like more of a special on the 5 day service, than a true set registry special ...
