Amazing Heritage Pull Holy $hi.....

So my girlfriend and I were at wal-mart today in San Antonio to pick up some stuff I needed and I saw another box of retail heritage so I figured I'd pick it up. I usually let her open up all the packs but for some reason it didn't happen that way today. I just opened the box and pulled an Ernie Banks Clubhouse Collection GU uniform autographed 12/25. I did some checking on ebay and the mays sells for 400-500 and the Kaline that was on there sells in the high 200s. Let me know what you guys think I can get for this card, it will by far cover all of my costs that I have spent on Heritage boxes.

I will try and get a scan of it sometime this weekend.

WOW, that is a sweet pull. Banks is a fan favorite and there aren't enough of this card to go around. The last
three Banks that sold on ebay closed at 380, 210, 195. Any chance at a trade? Probably not, but

I'm pretty sure I opened my last box of Heritage last week, and dang, I missed the right box by a mere 50 miles. All I ever wanted was a Musial auto (and Black Refractors of Frank Thomas, Mark Prior, and Albert Pujols), but never hit it. This would've been way better. Congratulations.

I'll try and get a scan of it this weekend. The jersey is white with a blue line across it so hopefully it pulls a premium on it. The only thing I'd be interested in trading it for is some nice graded stuff, most likely I will be selling it though.

and the game used card I got was
a Troy Glaus! (the one everybody has gotten it seems!)

Which Walmart was this? Was this a 29.99 box? Or a retail of 24 loose packs? Super nice pull! I haven't had any great luck like that in a long time.

29.99 retail box on Jones Maltsberger. I have bought around 5 retail boxes from there over the past 6 weeks and found a couple at the Austin Highway superstore as well. Still haven't pulled a black refractor yet and my only auto was a blue Aubrey Huff.

That pull makes my Red Signature #46/55 Banks look bad.. But it sold for 235.00 on Ebay last week so I am not fussing...

the design of that card could be a little better, did they really need to put "authentic game-worn uniform" on the bats four times?

Nice pull but just wondering. The GU material looks like double knit but the Cubs didn't switch from flannel to double knits until 1972, the year after Ernie retired in 1971. I'm not 1000% sure but it was something I noticed. Nice card, congrats!
