If anyone out there follows the Canadian Registry, what set/collector do you think is doing the best job, and why?
For the five cent pieces, I think that the best set, though incomplete is Northern Lights Collection Just kidding!, but seriously, which sets are the up and comers, or definite champs.

I thought my Canadian collection would look good if I got all my coins slabbed and registered, but I woudn't be anywhere near either Northern Lights of Lantern!
I sometimes wonder what grades PCGS would give my Victoria, Edward, and George large cents, but I'm not going to spend $15 a pop to find out.

Will they be worth twice as much if they're in PCGS plastic?

Some coins are worth more than twice as much in a slab!, but some coins don't get any extra value. For me, the slab is a benefit because it is a great protection against damage.
