Searching rolls of halves at the bank

Yesterday, I was at the bank for an extended transaction. While waiting, I asked if they had rolls of 50c. I bought 10 rolls of 10 and searched them at the bank. This was more of an experiment than anything.

Guess what? I found two - 1964 Kennedy Halves and one 1961 Franklin. These were well circulated and only good for silver value.

However, I wasn't expecting any Franklins.

  • That's a terrific find, badger.image I've been buying rolls of halves to spend for the past few years, and I've found only one Franklin. Even silver-clad Kennedies are unusual.
The strangest things seem suddenly routine.
