    Any more info on Nature Boy Ric Flair, 14 or 15 time World Champ, would be great !!

    The final bid for the Lockman psa 8 seems almost as believable as Pro wrestling !!

    Still unbeleiveable after all these threads.

    Someone got run up by third bidder Tokyogirl who only bids on sportscards from this seller.

    Big price for the Lockman, but I can't really say I'm shocked. 3 years ago there were 5 cards in the set with single digit pop's (Lockman, Lown, Ennis, Drews, Shuba)...while the others have had 4-5 more examples get graded in the past couple of years, this is only the 2nd Lockman 8 in that time period. Branca and Chris Renaud both need the card, among others.

    Flair is actually part of Team Evolution right now with Triple HHH, Batista, and the Legend
    Killer Randy Orten. I believe he is tag team champ right now with Batista. HBK and Chris
    Benoit almost captured the titles a week ago but due to the quick recognition of illegal
    man in the ring by the special ref Johnny Nitro a travesty was avoided.....

    And yes that was a lot of coin for a low pop - rare common.

    But it's only money... Look at how much money Vince McManon has made on sports entertainment!

    Depending on whether you include Ric's "phantom" title changes with Harley Race in New Zealand in 1984, Victor Jovica in Puerto Rico and Jack Veneno, it's even higher than 16. Against either Jovica or Veneno, I forget which, Flair was supposed to win but the crowd was at near-riot level of tension. Flair heard gunshots and they changed the finish, with the other guy "winning" the title!

    I'll always remember some of the matches Flair had in the late 80s with Sting and Ricky Steamboat. Classic stuff.

    I was planning on trying for this set in all psa 8 but I think I will revise my goal to mostly psa 8's with at least 1 psa 7.

    I think GAI just started grading the 2000 Taurus, so you could get more for it if you sent it in.

    I sent my old Mustang in ... under their Vintage special last month and the holder looks great! It justs flaps a little when you take the turns too sharp.

    Ric Flair should take on Whitey Lockman in a Slab Match for control of the $7,000 piece of plastic. It would take place in the plastic box Whitey is living in, with the winner receiving the belt saying NM_MT 8, and the loser having to wear a hat that says EVD TRM.
