Do they enjoy collecting beautiful coins?

I've been slumming - reading some Pretty Coin Guy System and Nice Guy Company non-darkside forums.

Where are the threads on attractive coins, historical information, the joys of collecting, etc., etc., etc.

On the other hand, where are our threads on the relative importance of MS67 and MS68, how to "invest" in bullion, the evil owners of TPGs, etc., etc., etc.

I disagree with your premise that there are no threads on the simple joys of collecting on the liteside. I will admit that there are a lot of threads about the political/business end of things, but I don't believe they are in the majority, not by a large margin.

I find these threads annoying sometimes. I guess they're there because US coins are big business for a lot of the people on the US Coin Forum, so they discuss what they feel affects them. Maybe the coins do get lost in all the chaos.

I think that darksiders may be practicing a somewhat purer form of collecting, but I don't believe that they are entirely without the same concerns as the litesiders, either.

I collect British coins because I love the history and beauty. I deal in US coins because I love the market (and need to feed my family).
