Picked this up on EBAY, recieved today, bid of 16.50, Looks to be Natural Toning. Thought I would share.

    I would have to defer to Lucy since she is one of the Franklin experts here on the Forum. However, I think it looks NT.

    I am going by the image I see, this coin could very well look better in person. But this image us showing a AU Frankie with rub, it seems to be lusterless with toning not really found on a 63. If this toning is NT it probably came from a album, however, I have seen and submitted many pulled from a album that have a different look and feel to their rim toning...


    This piece seems to maybe have been dipped at one time then toned to be sold, as what happens with many AU coins...

    Yep, the luster is pretty bad. AU!

  • Thanks Lucy, I respect your opinion very much, I have alot to learn about Franklins, The colors appear more natural than the photo in hand but I still am not sure, Eitherway , luckily I am not out to much $$$,
