Mastronet Non-Sports Items....Anybody Drooling?

Okay...so nobody else has taken a look at the OTHER auction yet...but if you get a chance...I'd love to know what makes you drool over there (the Americana auction with the non-sport cards).

Anybody reading my previous thread KNOWS I'm losing sleep over the 1932 US Carmel Presidents with the uncancelled 1932 McKinley Card. Is it too late for me to send it in for the candy?

Let me know if there's anything there that is of interest to you.

  • I wouldn't say drool, but the fact that G Washington's hair has been preserved and is up for auction is quite amazing.

  • I have actually collected political items longer than cards (lifetime APIC member) and will go after a Lincoln item and some campaign pennants.
  • I looked long and hard at that huge lot Batman items (those came out the same year I bought my first pack of Topps Baseball). And I saw a lot of non-sports stuff that I know I bought as a kid, but had forgotten about.

My interest then went towards some of the historical autographs (although I have none at the present). I made some token bids, so we will see.

    Both catalogs are just mind-boggling.

I know what you mean Awful...maybe we could split the Lost In Space lot?

Well that is, me and you and 22 others (1 pack apiece and we'll re-sell the box!!!)

Hey...if this works, I may want 10,000 others to help me win the George Washington letter!!!

That letter is awesome. If there ever was a "museum piece", that's it.

CW - I know what you mean. I am SHOCKED that it is not in a museum or National Archive already!!!

I could NEVER sell such a piece.
