How do u remove a wax stain from a card

Apologize as am sure topic addressed before, but I have a card that has super sharp corners, perfectly centered, etc.. (get the picture) but has a light wax stain - is there any way to try and remove without damaging the card? Any help would be appreciated

if its on the front, ive heard rubbing panty hose lightly on the surface will get rid of most of it

Is the stain on the front or back? Front is easy as all you need is a clean cotton cloth and rub gently (some swear by panty hose, but that may be for another reason!!). If it's on the back, it's more difficult to remove. You could use an artist's solvent like Rubber Cement Thinner. It will clean the card without smearing the ink or staining the cardboard.
