Liberty Double Eagle Collectors

Hi,

I am trying to get a feel for how many board members ( and who they are ) collect Liberty Double Eagles.

mansco: I collect $20 Libs & Saints, along with Morgan Dollars, and 19th Century Type Coins (see my signature line below /)

You may wish to check out my registry sets on PCGS and NGC under the name of "Stuart". I collect them mostly by type but I've got enough of different dates to make it wroth adding them to the registry.

The NGC Registry sets include both the PCGS and NGC certified coins, so they are more complete then my PCGS Registry sets.

I collect some Liberty (correctly called Coronet) $20 double egales. I cannot ever expect to assemble a semi-complete set.

I have some NGC and ICG slabs as well as PCGS slabbed $20's.

But carrying one raw in your pocket? An awesome experience.

I collect Type III's only. That way I have a bunch of bullion dates and relatively few impossible ones. image
