Hello everyone,

I have a 1896 morgan dollar wich shows light double on the reverse, especcially on the right star. Does anyone know wich VAM this could be??

BTW the doublin is slightly to the top left...

Hello Dennis,

I can't find anything that lists doubling on the reverse. It may be machine doubling. I've found that it isn't all that uncommon to find Morgan dollars with machine doubling, especially on the reverse. It's still a neat find though.

The doubling isn't visible with my 3x loupe, but is with 10x...
