Ever have a coin get stuck in a/your holder?

A Canadian dollar recently decided to not come out of capsule, not a big deal because it is a low value coin. I would be worried if it was an expensive coin though.

What's that an airtite holder? How did you get it out?

Last year I won an auction lot in one of those albums with 2x2 card /slide holders - whatever you call 'em.

I first had to cut each one out from it's pvc compartment and then had to PEEL the plastic from the faces of most of the coins. Rubbish. They were all lower value crowns etc. but imagine someone twenty years ago sticking a nice set of Pennies in there.

It would be horrible to lose valuable coins to a holder mishap. That'd be a great way to ruin your day!

I actually just closed it back up, no point in possibly damaging it. I think it may have been from expansion of the metal. Maybe cooling it quickly would help.

It is just a generic capsule I think, but it isn't an Airtite.
