1859 Indian head can it be right

6 yrs back i got a nice little 1859 BN indian head in EF40 to au50. alot of detail nice shape full liberty . and even though it was one of my finds at my first job at A&P i looked at a coin guide last week and saw it say "EF-40 $50 AU-50 $125 . can that be right? i know the market is what people are willing to pay but even though i dont think i ever remember in the last few yrs that coin ever being booked at that price. during my stint at A&P that was by far the best i got , besides some silver coins.

    CDN bid/ask is

    Xf-75/85
    Au125/140

And if decent with nice eye-appeal will usually fetch it easily plus more.

You have to remeber the 1859 Indian is a one year type. You have demand from Date set builders as well as type set builders, plus all of the other folks who just like Indians in general.
