I bid everyone a fond farewell, and a heartfelt apology, but I must go ...

It is with a heavy heart that I leave these boards today,
but, alas, I need to run down to the store and pick up something for supper.

I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone for any hurt or inconvenience this may cause,
and I look forward to rejoining you guys when I get home ... probably in about an hour.

Please don't beg me to stay, that will only make it harder for me to leave.
My wife has already said that she doesn't feel like going to the store, and so, go I must.

Once again, I'm sorry, and happy trails to all ...

    We all at one time or another have times where we run out to get some dinner. Thank you for having the courage to come to these boards to let the rest of us know. It takes a big enough man to post on the boards that you are making a temporary departure.

    Okay, I'm back already.

    Thanks to everyone for their support, and terrific suggestions on how to keep this from ever happening again.
