I spent a few hours playing with my camera and different settings. I normally use aperature priority mode but today I played with shutter priority. The below image was taken using DH's angle technique with no light other than what is coming in through a sliding glass door 8 feet away. ( It is very cloudy outside )
After several trial shots this image was taken at 64 ISO, set for a 2 second exposure and the camera set a f-stop 0f 3.6.

My question, almost exactly. My Panasonic is capable of that kind of shot, but it's too much work to set up if it doesn't render true color.
