I can still remember the rage with the Pirates and that theme song.Boy,was Stargell a force that year.And they say you are past your prime at 39.Just goes to show you us old guys can still perform.

The 70's were great years for the city of Pittsburgh and I got to enjoy it in my youth. There was a brief blip on the radar screen in the eary 90's with the pirates, but it's been dead quiet ever since.
The Pirates have always been my team but they function and have functioned for quite a while as just a major league triple-A team.
The Pirates were awesome when they had Andy Van Slyke....they were a strong team. Don't forget those times.
