OK, OK, it is not exactly what you thought.

I just received the finest slabbed 1872 BG-722 WH 1/4 Dollar in PCGS MS-67. That is the Washington Head California Fractional 1/4 dollar Gold piece. Pop 2/0 tied with one other but this was the first one to make it. It is technically a quarter!

So my one coin set is now complete. image

This will eventually go into my mini type California Fractional Gold type set which I am still tinkering with and still in the process of upgrading. It already qualifies for #1 but haven't bothered to make it #1 just yet.

Here is the picture, a poor photo shoot by me:
(Below my picture is a picture of an MS-66 which was sold by Heritage Auctions 2 years ago (to someone else.)

an interested set oreville!!! i like it !!!!!

i once for a brief time had a proof registry pcgs set of liberty nicks

with one coin registered and it looked kind of funny and interesting because it was the all time single best finest coin of any on the registry and had a GPA of proof 69 LOL

and was fun to see my set registered down the list with the average grade of proof 69

i had another registry set for somewhat longer than a brief time period on the pcgs registry 100% complete 5 coins in the set
and it was the finest number one set still would be if it was still there LOL besides being the first set registered
