Reserve might have been $1200, which would explain the jump from the opening of $650.

I believe I won this one as well as two others. In all three cases, the "winning bid" is exactly my proxy bid, there was only one bid, and the "starting bid" is shown as well below my winning bid.

Maybe all three just happened to have reserves exactly the same as your proxy bids.
