Would you grade a common to get PSA 9oc?

I am going through a partial set of 1959 Topps baseball. I am finding a few to grade and sell. My question is, should I grade a card that I believe will come back as a 9 off center? This is the card in question.

Did I leave anything out?
Depends upon why why you need/want the card. If you need a placeholder for a set, the by all means go for it. If however you are looking for something to sell, then don't waste your time and $.

It came back a 7.
We'll see how it does.
Most set collectors don't want qualifiers in their sets (especially for the larger ones, unless it's a low pop).
59T Henry 7
I'd check the pop report on the card first. '59 Topps in 7 don't sell all that well for high pop cards - I've picked up a few for $8 to $10 including shipping lately. 6s are really taking a bath. High # 6s can go for grading fees and everything else for a lot less. Unless a '59 Topps card is a tough card in any grade higher than PSA 7 (and the market has acknowledged that), I too would sell this one raw. [OK, I'm too lazy to check the pop. report.]

I would guess that card doesn't get a 9 anyway, the right side seems rough (unless that's from the scan). Sell it raw, don't waste your time.
Plus a 7 is the equivalent of a 9oc in terms of registry points (which seems to be the main reason most would buy graded vintage commons)

I think grading anything that will come back an o/c will make your business go the way of the San Tan BBQ.

Just an aside.. I'd rather have a well-centered psa 6 (or even a perfectly centered 5) of that card in my collection than the one in the picture above. It has aweful eye-appeal! Sorry to be so critical- just my opinion.
