I have close to 20K in collector coins. The bullion value is probably around 120 oz. If silver rises to about $200.00 an ounce the bullion in my coins will probably supercede the collector value. image

My wife has 5,000 troy ounces in her IRA. image
And it was my idea. image

We bought it right off Comex early last year ($4.30/oz). Bought one futures contract and took delivery - five 1000 oz Johnson Matthey London bars.

Now stored in a secure depository in Delaware (as per IRA rules - you have to have a trust company hold the metals for you).

Buncha ASE's which I have been trying to unload over time. I plan to maintain 3 sets in Airtites plus a PCGS slabbed set.

Far less than I should. Maybe 750 ounces all back around 3x face value.

DCarr, good deal on the IRA silver. Now that's a sweet deal. Even if you take it out with a penalty as silver peaks, you probably come out far ahead. Hopefully age 59-1/2 starts to hit around the time silver peaks.
