Got economy grades on rainbows--jefferson question?

Onlyroosies must be teaching me a trick or two.....Got exactly the grades I expected on all 8 color coins.... that does not happen very often....the 67 Kennedy has a really cool green end roll rainbow reverse...the 44S quarter was sent in under my special "I'm an idiot -- wishful thinking" category..... The only disappointment was the 40D jeff that I "thought" would 66, but was "really, really hoping" would 67 because of the color....Is 40D a common or better date in FS??

Jefferson nickels, a 147-coin series, has 22,880 coins grading FS, with 1,439 of these grading 67FS.

That's right, buy 14 MS67FS Jefferson nickels and you own (control) 1% of the existing population!

The top ten most common Jefferson nickels in MS67FS:

Take away these coins, and that leaves just 562 67FS coins spread among 137 issues.

the war nickels aside, 1940-D is just about the most common Jefferson in MS66FS.
