The HepKitty and the 43 Walker! Large Images!

LucyBopLucyBop Posts: 14,001 ✭✭✭
I knew it was GEM the minute I saw it! The luster is outstanding on this one, full skirt lines, fully split thumb, a strong strike....

Would you have paid $50 for it????

Lucy: That's a beautiful Walking Liberty Half. Congratulations on a nice pick-up !! image

Yes, I would have paid $50 (MS-64 money) for it because it looks like an MS-65+ (Shot 66) coin!

looks like a very nice "6" indeed. It appears that there is a spot on the bust and a less noticeable one on the arm that may have been the culprit(s) that kept it from the "7?"

might be worth a second shot.

    definitely the right price, though..........

  • Most 43 walkers are fully struck,i should know,i looked at thousands of them in 88-89 !
    41 S is the worst !
But,i think you got robbed, was thinking MS67,the eye appeal shoulda brought the 67 !

I have to agree with all. Its a stunner! Loads of detail and great eye appeal. How fast did you whip out the cash? I bet you would have to submit it three time but it would make 67.

Does this mean your love affair with Benjamin Franklin is nearing it's end? Have you been smitten by Lady Liberty? The repercussions are mind boggling....
