NGC XF45 1857 FE cent. "Obv. Center Die Break" AKA S16

JUST back from NGC.
They labelled it as "Obverse Center Die Break" "Mint Error XF45"

It is the "weeping wing" or Snow 16 variety.

nice original coin.

will be for sale here until sunday night (ebay then).

    I haven't really looked closely at it. I would say probably not. I have an AU58 one where I can make out a portion of the MPD.

    Pretty cool. The die break looks pretty smooth - do you think it's a fully dveloped cud or circulation wear??
