SCG Paranoia

Usually it takes awhile to get banned from the PSA boards. I was banned from the SCG forum in 30 minutes!!

My comment on Forman's takeover at SCG:

"Having dealt with Moser and Forman in the past, I am not happy with the announcement of the SCG change in ownership"

I was banned "immediately for integrity attacks in the Forman thread".

Guess I struck a nerve at SCG . Listing Moser and Forman in the same sentence constitutes an "integrity attack". .image

Don't try to sound so innocent and naive.

live each day like it's your last but don't count on it!
  • maybe it was because you kept calling them SCG instead of SGC? image

Or maybe it was of your insinuation that Moser was involved. From what I understand Gary Moser isn't involved with Dave anymore and has nothing to do with SGC. If Moser was with SGC then SGC would be in trouble I believe but I gather that this was just wild speculation based upon nothing but a previous relationship between the two guys years ago.

Great sir, Dobby must warn you to be careful, for Moser and Forman are they who are not to be named!

No. I did not post anonymously. I own a bunch of SCG cards and I'm not happy with this ownership change in terms of their future value. Making my opinion known is not "looking for trouble".

Considering all the complaints people have made on these boards about PSA and Joe Orlando, few people have been banned from here, and that has happened usually after several incidents. My point is that SCG is far less tolerant of even the mildest criticism.

Now, anyone want to buy a NM 1953 Bowman Whitey?

You're right. I can't get that straight. The company's name is SportsCardGuarantee L.L.C. That's SCG to me.

  • My post to this thread that I made last night was apparently deleted. All I said was the anti PSA and anti-SGC slants on the SGC and PSA message boards was silly. I would like an explanation as to why my post was banned. Since there was some discussion about whether SGC should be SCG I also said Sportscard Guaranty Corporation = SGC.

...so why won't SGC allow you to diss SCG?
  • My confusion. I must be getting older than I think.
