This just goes to prove how people (yes including professional graders) can view the same card and have completely different views. My initial guesses prior to Schmidty telling us the 6 grades was:
I noticed that a lot of you said that the 10 is the top right. That was my initial guess too because the corners are so nice but there is a huge print defect line between the I and the first L. I doubt that could get a 10 with that. I probably wouldn't even submit that card for fear of a pd.

Steve:
I cannot say with certainty whether that line is on the card or not. It possibly could have been a scanner problem (sorry - tried really hard to do a good job). I will be unable to provide a better scan of that top right Schmitty today - but perhaps someone here will be able to help me out with that come this weekend.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
Hey sandlot , welcome back to the boards, i guess you are not leaving which I don't mind since it's nice to get a different perspective. you are obviously anti grading and psa since you are a raw dealer. MS , already said that these cards were 1 -8 4-9's and a 10. so what do you post 8.8.7. and 7,8,9 . Wow , you must be a tough grader and a guy i want to buy some raw cards from since your standards are tougher than PSA. I believe a 7 is a nr mint card, how come my nr mint raw card that I bought from you had a wax stain on the front, a top corner that looked pressed and 2 soft corners on the bottom yet you put it in the same class as 2 of these beauties? I think this makes for great discussion of your character and your obvious agenda against grading companies. don't get me wrong , i would like you to stay around as it keeps things interesting and hopefully you can remain cival but you are hurting your business by continuing to remain on these boards
the top right card is out of focus and has print defects in the black of the card. The bottome right has crystal clean black background and sharp corners, perfect centering, and face is not blurry.
