wierd nickel

its a 1978 2 step jefferson nickel. with a cut in the metal ( clipped planchet) . only a small part but still a cool find at work

any ideas on value?

    Small clips are available in abundance. The demand is low. So the value is negligible. A buck or two.

    Cool find!! Is it near unc condition? I find it hard to beleive it was in circulation all that time. Someone must be spending their coin collection.

    the A in America is half missing the M in america is partly clipped
    and on the back the L is about 60% missing the I is about 25% missing and the B in LIBERTY is hardly effected by this.

    i know it isnt a deep one but its cool and cuts into the words
