Help Wanted With This Bust Half

This 1832 half dollar is wearing an NGC AU58 holder. I picked it from Heritage. There is no mention of an error or a variety in the description or on the slab. I thought it was just toning from the pics. Now that I can see it up close. I thought it was a HUGE die crack runung from the wing to the claws? Now I am leaning more towards it being a struk-thru with the metal still present.

There are numerous small fractures, all in the same area as the raised metal.

Im not upset in the least and I look at this as a big bonus, what ever it is?

Opinions?
