Was going through an old junk box of foriegn coins that was given to me as a kid and found 2 interesting coins.

1800 large cent
1863 knickerbocker civil war token

The cent has two holes punched in it and the token has a dent on the rim. I was pretty surprised to find the large cent as I have been looking for one on ebay. Just too bad it has the holes punched in it. Pretty good finds though for something I didn't even know I had.

Can anyone give me anymore info on the civil war token. I found a similar one on ebay for $35 in unc condition, but couldn't find much more additional info on them.

Hey, that is pretty neat! I'd love to find a holed 1800 large cent! Sorry, but I have no info on the token.

I am planning to go through the box again (more carefully this time) to see if I can find any other US coins. I don't really have any interest in the non US coins although there are some coins in there from the 1800s and early 1900s that probably have some value. I am just too lazy to do the reasearch.
