You find coins in the weirdest places

Tonight at the coin auction I picked up a couple of neat Kennedy halves. Neat because they're toned, but also in the way they came. They were part of a Rockwell Automotive ad campaign. The coins came in a neat little frame, on back of which was an ad for Rockwell products and a card to mail in. It's kinda cool. I took the coin out of one of the frames, I think I'll keep the other intact for posterity. I wish more companies still did stuff like this.

I like the coin and the story behind it. I look at them as " novalty items " of the coin world and I think they`re pretty neat sometimes. I like it.

I picked up a pair of "Neutron Irradiated" dimes the other day. One is a merc and the other a roosevelt.

These kind of coin collectables are neat.
