Since it is not indicated, I doubt it has much silver at all. Normally a bullion coin will say something like ".900" or ".995", etc.

That would be 12 Troy Ounces, each ounce 480 grains.

I'd guess that if it weighs a pound it might not be more than silver plate. If it's
a troy pound than it's likely 999 silver.
There are a significant of bad silver rounds and bars on the market but they aren't
overly common. Some of the bad ones say 999 on them.

From the look of it I would strongly suspect that is is a silver plated one standard pound (16 oz, not troy oz) piece
