need help from those who have used crossover service

If I submitted a card with a minimum grade of 8,
and on the completed order it says
card xxxxxxxxx psa 8
card xxxxxxxxx psa 8
card xxxxxxxxx M/G
I know that M/G probably means that the card doesn't cross over,
but my question is did they take it out of the original holder, or is the
card still in the SGC 88 holder ?
