Looks normal to me. Just a different patina. Perhaps cleaned.

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. Brass is an allow of copper and zinc. Starting in 1864 through 1961 cents were bronze. In 1962 they switched to brass.

That's what occured to me too,but the color looked so even.I've never seen one that looked this way.Oh well,it does'nt hurt to ask.
